This session intends to provide information and resources on potential career paths that Physics Bachelors can pursue with their degrees in industry, as opposed to in academia or education. The discussion could include an overview of possible sectors in industry, marketable and employable skills that Physics Bachelors have, key ideas to keep in mind when choosing a career in industry, and examples of gender minorities who have successfully taken this path.
Intersectionality round table
Discuss how intersectional identities such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, and disabilities overlap to create your unique experiences as a scientist in a safe and open environment.
Gradguate Panel
Hear from faculty and current graduate students about the application process, how to choose an advisor and program, challenges that can arise, and more! Ask questions and hear advice in a low-pressure environment.

This panel is intended to emphasize the importance and challenges of achieving a healthy equilibrium between one’s professional and personal life.
