PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Elementary Education is a four-year program that focuses on preparing excellent educators for reflective classroom practice in elementary schools. This course prepares students in the areas of literacy, mathematics, social studies, and science to create classroom environments that stimulate young students’ curiosity and engage their intellects in ways that directly foster high achievement. The principles of diversity, democracy, authenticity, academic rigor and accountability are integrated into both the professional foundation and elementary education pedagogy courses.
The Bachelor of Elementary Education enables the students to:
obtain a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding in the field of Elementary Education;
develop a critical mind that enhance the knowledge in concepts and ideas included curriculum development, instruction, and assessment;
acquire the the theorithecal and practical skill needed to be globally compititative and national certified Elementary School Teacher;
gain a broad liberal education in the arts and letters, social sciences and philosophy, natural science and mathematics; and
develop the cultural sensitivity; ethical responsibility, and social consciousness needed to become upright and productive indivudual of this country.
