The Public Heritage Lab aims to engage students, staff, and faculty at institutions throughout South Carolina by increasing access to cultural heritage materials and making strides towards decolonizing academic gatekeeping of material culture resources. To do so, we employ digital technologies to produce virtual and 3-dimensional copies of local archaeological and cultural material collections in an effort to diversify educational and interpretive heritage resources.
