Lost all apps & games

or other issues making your system not boot properly, not read the SD card or launch apps / games saying they are corrupted, missing or not on the current storage

First of all, STOP.!
Secondly, dont panic

it may not be as bad as you first think and PLEASE dont listen to people saying to Factory reset or format as this will often make things worse

If you see the message that says 'Updating database' dont worry, this is just the device doing its thing, let it finish so it doesnt corrupt anything

Lets assess the current situation

Fully turn off the device
Remove the SD2Vita adaptor
Reinsert the adaptor and power on

If your lucky then it was just your adaptor that needed reseating, or just needed a reboot.

If this has fixed your issue but it still happens a few times, then i recommend installing and running the Quick remounter to eliminate the storage manager plugin as being the possible issue (use the first option below)

If your system hasnt changed then open the 'Settings' app, goto system, system information and we can check a few things here to see what we need

MY System software says 3.65 with symbols and my capacity shows that i do have storage but its not my sd card

Because we can see symbols, this means that your device is still modded but for some reason it didnt boot from the SD

this can be due to issues with the SD, the adaptor, user mistakes, or using YAMT as the storage manager (especially with larger SD cards or Samsung cards)

Luckily tho, because you do still have some accessible storage (internal or official card) we can simply use the 'Quick Remounter' tool to re assign the SD back as the main storage

open the Vita web browser app and goto the address:
download.psvita.group
press the 'Continue' button and then 'OK'

The Quick App Downloader menu should show up after a short while but If the browser crashes, either try again or reboot and try again.

Highlight the option 'Install Quick Remounter' then press CROSS

If you Vita gets stuck then hold the power button for it to force a reboot and try again.

Once installed press CROSS on Exit

Open the Quick Remounter app and follow it through

Your system should reboot and hopefully if you SD card and its data are good, your adaptor is fine, and you didnt format the SD you should see the 'Updating database' message and all your apps and games should reappear. They wont always be in the same arrangement as before but they should be back

Follow Step 2 of the guide to Install 3.65 again (modded)
Follow Step 3 but dont install the 'Quick App Downloader' this time choose 'Quick Remounter'
once the remounter has installed, select Exit
Open the Quick Remounter app and follow it through
