Middle school math prepares students for advanced math classes. Mastering basic math skills in middle school is important because it helps students prepare for more difficult concepts in high school. Math is a series of building blocks, so a solid math foundation encourages continued academic growth.

This month, the Reading Club will be listening to the audio book and discussing "A Good Kind of Trouble" by Lisa Moore Ramée.
In "A Good Kind of Trouble", the students will meet a lovable main character we can feel sorry for, and then cheer her on through win after the win. Author Lisa Moore Ramée vividly evokes how terrible it feels when the principal gets on your case, you get stuck with an undesirable lab partner, or the boy you have a crush on likes your best friend.
