Guidelines for Presenters
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are allotted 20 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes designated for Q&A, followed by a 5-minute transition period.
We encourage all presenters to use their personal laptops when presenting. Please let us know if this will not be possible by September 1st, 2024. Laptops should have the ability to connect via HDMI or another compatible method. Bringing your own (and tested) dongle ensures a less stressful experience setting up.
Poster Presentations
Posters should be printed 48"W x 36"H to fit our standard display mounts. Tape and pins will be provided to attach your poster.
We recommend reviewing the linked guideline at the bottom of this page for more details.
Teaching Tips
Teaching tip presentations are scheduled for 8 minutes each and will be conducted in a Round Robin style.
Presenters will stay seated at their tables while attendees rotate to listen to each presentation. A bell will ring every 8 minutes, signaling the audience to move to the next presentation, allowing for a 1-minute transition period.
