I cannot imagine that I would have such a valuable chance to visit the German local school and observe the class before. Even though I don't know Spanish, I still feel very meaningful to have this lesson with Susana and Isabel. As a student who is going to be a English teacher, I can learn some teaching methods, teaching technique as well as some information about the German education today, and everything about the Spanish is so fresh and funny. I am also surprised about the equipment in the classroom, such as the blackboard which can be folded, the curtain which would be put down when they using the projector, which are so humanizing.
In short, I learn a lot form the classes as well as the feedback from our classmates. That's inspiring.Thank you ~~

Today is a very special day because we had a chance to observe a Spanish class in Germany and had a chance to attend a seminar with some students who are learning to become Spanish teachers. The students of the Spanish class we observed are all teenagers. It was a great opportunity to visit a local school and study with the local students. This class was meant to teach Spanish vocabulary. From my point of view, the teaching method this teacher used was traditional and was similar like the method used in English classes in China. English teachers in my country prefer to use the same ways to teach. However, compared with students in my country, students in Germany are more active and maybe this is because the different education system. After this class observation, we attended a seminar with German students who have higher level of Spanish. We sat in groups to discuss and students were very kindly to translate for us. After this week, I found this group discussion is very inspiring especially when the group members are from different countries because we could know the different situation in different countries, which could broaden our horizons.

Today, we went to a middle school to observe a Spanish class. In the beginning, the teacher asked students to express the date in Spanish as a warm-up. After that, the whole lesson began with words, then phrases, sentences, and finally conversations. The interaction between the teacher and students was mainly reflected by the questions and answers. The interaction between students and students was mainly reflected in group discussion. The teacher used many different teaching techniques such as role-play and pronunciation repetition. In the afternoon, we have shared some thoughts and experience with other students about reflective practice. I really learnt a lot from it. Being a teacher is not the end of self-study. It is another beginning of self-development.
