Statement of Support and Request for Action

We, the promotoras and team of Re:Vision, are signing this statement to express our collective concern regarding the current work environment and leadership practices under Executive Director Mariana del Hierro.
We stand in solidarity with our compañeras who have come forward and share a mutual fear of retaliation or negative consequences for speaking up. Many of us have experienced or witnessed dynamics within the organization that have made it difficult to work in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
While we are not detailing individual experiences here, we believe that the concerns raised warrant a formal, independent investigation. We ask the Board of Directors to take these matters seriously and act to ensure that all staff are treated with dignity and that Re:Vision remains true to its mission and values.
We ask for transparency, that the policies of the employees handbook be respected as our rightful protections, that our concerns not be ignored and that we be provided training in various areas for our professional development so that we can offer higher quality work and better serve our community. Our community deserves no less.
