My methodological research focuses on measurement issues and estimation of causal effects.
I am interested in studying factorial validity and measurement in variance across sub-populations and across time points.
My other research interest involves research design and statistical methods (e.g., propensity score analysis) to estimate causal effects for situations when randomization is infeasible or when randomization is broken. I have collaborated in applying these quantitative methods to psychological and educational data especially, in prevention or intervention studies for disadvantaged youth and adults.
Lastly, I am also interested in statistical survival analysis, which is analysis of time to an event to occur.
