The second volunteer opportunity of 2024 hosted by Project HEARTwork was an origami booth at the Sugar Land Art and Kite Festival.
Over 25 volunteers attended and taught simple origami to kids and parents at the Art Fest. We worked with students from the Village School to set up the booth and had a wonderful experience together.

Location: Crown Festival Park, Sugar Land, Texas
The Sugar Land International Art and Kite Festival is hosted annually at the Crown Festival Park. It is a free event that celebrates community through art, music, dance, food, and much more. The festival also hosts a chalk art competition and is one of the most colorful events of the year!
