Project HEARTwork began as a vision to unite creativity with community service, igniting a movement where art becomes a powerful tool for social change. Originally called 'Project hArtwork' in 2022, our organization was born out of a shared belief in the ability of art to inspire, uplift, and connect people from all walks of life.
Our journey started with a small group of passionate individuals who recognized the potential for art to make a difference in the lives of others. We set out to create a space where artists and volunteers could come together to create positive impact in our community. And in 2023, we began organizing volunteer events.
Since our inception, we have been dedicated to creating accessible and meaningful opportunities for individuals to engage in service through art. From organizing bookmark-making workshops for schools in Pakistan to hosting a booth at UT Austin's STEM Girl Day, our activities are designed to empower both volunteers and participants to unleash their creativity while making a tangible difference in the world.
Over the years, Project HEARTwork has grown into a thriving community of artists, volunteers, and supporters who share a common passion for using art as a catalyst for social change. Together, we have embarked on countless projects, with over 450 hours of service, leaving a lasting imprint.
As we continue to write our story, we remain committed to our founding principles of creativity, compassion, and community. Welcome to Project HEARTwork – where art meets service, and where every act of creation becomes an act of kindness.
