Project HEARTwork (PHW) is a Houston-based student group focused on community service and art. We work with local and global institutions to foster creativity, appreciation for the arts, and a love of service.
Our Mission
"Project HEARTwork is dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of art to inspire positive change within communities. Our mission is to provide accessible and impactful community service opportunities through art, fostering creativity, compassion, and social engagement. By collaborating with artists, volunteers, and community partners, we strive to address social issues, promote inclusivity, and empower individuals to make a difference. Through our programs and projects, we aim to create a more vibrant, connected, and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive."
Commity service is prevalent in every aspect of our work- every activity is donated to a community in need. Providing sustainable, creative solutions is part of our mission.
Our events are all about promoting diversity and equity. Our annual trip to UT Austin's Girl Day promotes women in STEM, and our smaller Houston-based events adress prominent social issues, such as the genocide in Gaza.
