Last day in Germany
đź—“ April 24th - Anna S, Aitana, Kai, Valeria and LisThe last day we came back to the "Marist" School. Some students did somre presentations about german cultura and they prepared some games and activities. We enjoyed them a lot. After that, we attended a pretzel workshop.
The german teachers of the school cooked out lunch, typical german food. Thank you very much!
Then, we played in the playground with the german students and it was time to say goodbye. In the afternoon, we went to the airport. When we saw our parents we felt joy, but we were also sad because this great experience had come to and end.
It has been an unforgetable experience!
Teachers: Today is the last day of this trip. We woke up earlier than ever (just after 5 a.m.) because we also had to pack our suitcases and leave the house clean and tidy (as if a group of 18 people hadn’t stayed there for a week!). At the school, we had the chance to play, cook, do crafts, and spend some free time with the students. All of this while waiting for the time to head to the airport. Of course, on the plane almost everyone fell fast asleep from exhaustion, except for a few brave ones! All that’s left is to thank you for the warm welcome and for all the support throughout these months of the project. We are closing this experience, which will always stay with us, and we hope it has opened many doors to meeting people from different countries and helped overcome the fear and shyness of speaking another language.
A big hug and see you soon!
Getting to know our friends
đź—“ April 23rd - GenĂs, Jofre, Clara i EseoseYesterday we woke up very early to go to Maristen Gymnasium, in Furth.
When we arrived at the school the principal gave us a tour through the school. Then, we did our presentations in front of the students. After that, we had time to talk to the german students. Later, we played a gymkana.Â
After that, we went back to the school, said goodbye and went to Landshut. We had lunch at a traditional place inside the fun fair.
In the evening, we went to a "Luxury restaurant" at Munich. It was amazinng seeing Munich at night. It was such a great day!
Teachers: Today marked the beginning of the second part of this little adventure: the days we will spend at the Maristen Furth school. The welcome has been incredible, and we have truly felt at home. Your children had the opportunity to stand in front of a full classroom and share different traditions that we celebrate at our school. They did an amazing job, congratulations! We are starting to feel a bit tired, as we have to wake up before 6 a.m. to get to the school, but everything we are experiencing makes it all worth it!
Bike project
đź—“ April 22nd - Ada, Aitana and Anna AToday we have been to a little excursion.
In the morning we have rented some bikes and after that, we have gone to the ENGLISH GARDENS. After a long time riding, we have stopped and played in the big gardens.
Later, we have had lunch and the food was delicious.
We have gone back to the park and we have played ·pitxi" and "mata conills". After that, we have returned the bikes and we have had a snack, some waffles.
Once in the apartment, we have had pizza and we have watched "How to train your dragon". Our day has been a dream!
Teachers: After the exciting day we experienced yesterday, today has been a chance to enjoy nature, calm, and relaxation. The English Garden surprised us much more than we expected: a huge space with many paths for cycling, wooded areas, and open fields where we could play.
Spoiler: your children fell asleep before reaching halfway through the movie (and some teachers too…).
Amazing adventure in Legoland
đź—“ April 21st - Â Kai, Eloi, Anna S i MaiaToday it has been very funny and cool. We have lived a lot of experiences because we have never been to an attraction park together with our classmates and our teachers.
The attraction that more people enjoyed has been "Maximus".
Teachers: Today has been a fantastic day. We woke up at 6 in the morning, had breakfast, and went to the metro station. From there, we went again to the central station, where we waited for our train to GĂĽnzburg, the town where Legoland is located. It has been a wonderful day filled with laughter and a great atmosphere within the group, where we have been able to get to know our classmates better. At the end, we shared a moment to talk about what we are grateful for from everything we have experienced so far.
Cultural day in the city centre
🗓 April 20th -  Jan, Valèria, Alex i LisToday we have been at the city centre doing a "Free tour" with Julieta. We discovered many interesting things and curiosities of the city.
After eating, we have gone to the Deutsches Museum. It is an interactive museum about astronauts, planes, science and physics. We have enjoyed a lot and we hace learned much more about the city.
In the afternoon we have eaten a pretzel and we have gone shopping souvenirs.
Teachers: This morning we had our first breakfast at the house and, once we were ready, we headed to the station to take the metro, which brought us to Munich Hauptbahnhof (the city’s main station). From there, we took a relaxed walk to Marienplatz, where Julieta, our teacher for the morning, welcomed us. With her, we learned interesting facts and historical aspects of the city and the culture of the Bavaria region. She was very friendly, and her way of communicating encouraged the students to participate and ask questions.
Following her recommendation, we had lunch at the Viktualienmarkt, and then we walked for 15 minutes to the Deutsches Museum. There is a lot of excitement in the air for tomorrow!
Firsts steps in Munich
đź—“ April 19th - Â Eseose, Clara, GenĂs i JofreWhen we were in the airplane everybody were super excited! The flight was fine.
After that, we went to McDonald's to have lunch, it was good. Then, we had a walk around the city. Later, we went to discover our apartment and everybody loved it. We had dinner and we went to sleep because we were very tired.
It was a great first day!
Teachers: Although it has been a long and tiring day, it has been marked by the excitement of starting this Erasmus+ adventure and experience. Overall, it has been a calm day that has helped us get to know our new home, settle in, divide tasks, and do the shopping. The intensity of the day has led us to rest a bit earlier so we can recharge our energy for tomorrow, when a cultural day in the city awaits us.
Visita a Maristen-Gymnasium
