I used voronoi texture and color ramp, just like what I did for the previous models, to create the material and texture.
I also added the same Egyptian pita bread to the Mulukhiyeh recipe in the book.
To animate the "tasha", a fundamental aspect of Mulukhiyeh, I used fluid simulation and gas simulation for the smoke!
When the tasha is poured into the mulukhiyeh it makes a loud sizzingling sound and creates smoke.
Another important part of showing how the tasha mixes with the mulukhiyeh was animating the color, I had to use mix in the shader note to mix between 2 shaders and turn the tasha greener and greener so that it appears to mix with the mulukhiyeh soup.
