Source 1

One of the major types of Literature is poetry. Usually, poems follow a structure that often includes verses, stanzas, rhymes, and meter (Masterclass, 2022). 

Source 2

One of the major types of Literature according to their form is prose. This type of Literature follows a grammatical structure arranged into sentences and paragraphs (De Guzman, 2025).

Performance Task 2

Synthesizing Information from Various Sources

Instructions:

1. Divide the class into 5 groups.

2. Watch these videos and take notes of the important details:

• Source 1: “Could Playing Music Drastically Change Your Brain?”

• Source 2: “How playing an instrument benefits your brain”

3. Write a summary of the information you gathered from Source 1 and Source 2. 

4. Then, create a synthesis of the information you gathered from these sources. 

5. You may use Microsoft PowerPoint or Canva to do this task.

6. Present your output in the class.
