University of Illinois

Located in the twin cities of Urbana and Champaign , the pedagogy and physical activity program at the University of Illinois allows students to examine how knowledge and skills are imparted in an academic context, focusing on curricula and instruction that helps individuals develop knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to adopt and maintain a physically active lifestyle.

Dr. Wesley Wilson directs Project CAPER at U of I. His research interests focus on the socialization of adapted physical educators.
