NOTE: AirTable is an online database application, far more flexible and GUI than a PHP/MyAdmin view. It is therefore a great introduction to database design and use, and far superior to Google Apps (which struggle to use a spreadsheet as a database, requiring many complex workarounds and scripts).
There is a free version for individual users. The fancy stuff happens at $20/month.
