DIVISION OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION (DVR): Designed to assist individuals with disabilities to

FAMILY SERVICES OF NE WI: WIA Older Youth Program - Youth training and education-income based job

JOB CORPS: Residential education and training programs for youth ages 16-24. Offers eligible clients the
opportunity to earn their HSED and receive vocational training. Call (920) 435-1543 for further details.
FORWARD SERVICE CORPORATION: Assistance in finding and keeping jobs, employment-related cash
loans, along with transportation assistance, child care, and more through the Wisconsin Works (W-2) Program.

MIGRANT SERVICES: Administers the migrant labor laws and assures that all migrant housing in the State of
Wisconsin is free from health and safety concerns. The bureau provides technical assistance and enforcement of migrant labor laws with respect to work agreements and labor contractors. It also provides processing of alien labor requests, monitoring of migrant worker access to labor exchange services and provision of staff support to the Migrant Labor Council. REFUGEE SERVICES: NEWCAP offers refugee services in job search, job coaching, job readiness and
motivation training, assistance in interviewing and resume preparation, on job site translation, and employer

VETERAN SERVICES: Meet with a veteran's representative for individual case management, job search
assistance, cover letter and resume assistance, referrals to other programs, etc. Veterans are encouraged to

WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT (WIA): Long-term and short-term retraining and education for dislocated
workers, adult and youth training and education-income based job search assistance. If interested, sign up on

NATIONAL CAREER READINESS CERTIFICATE (NCRC); The National Career Readiness Certificate
(NCRC) is a portable credential that helps build a job seeker's confidence and verifies that his or her skills
match an employer's needs

TYPING TEST: To qualify for some State positions, as well as select employers, typing tests may be required.

FIDELITY BONDING: A type of insurance bought by an employer to protect against losses (such as
embezzlement or theft by employees). Fidelity bonding may help job seekers with a criminal background gain employment. Call the (920) 448-6773 for further details.
