Add a synth or any tone based instrument to an audio track. We're using "Phoenix" from Gadget.
Connect Prism to the audio track and filter the MIDI input input to channel 3 as we’ll use track 3 in Prism.
.
The [ECHO] feature lets you select and play the sequence notes from another track.
What makes [ECHO] powerful is that multiple tracks can play the same sequence simultaneously—but each can start at a different point, play for a different length, run at a different speed, and apply unique effects and transformations.
1. Track Select State -> Track 3
2. SEQ Setup
3. Press ECHO
4. Select the source track to ECHO
5. Go back to SEQ
Track 3's SEQ trig values are now locked to track 2.
Tone tracks have a series of FX that can be applied. The FX button will display the last used FX for quick access. Press it again or long press to access the main FX selector screen.
Tap any FX to access it's editor. Let's check out a fan favorite - ARP.
Drag the style param to turn the arp on and set a primary play mode
1. Apply some choke
2. Change the # of arp steps
3. Pitch shift an arp step
Let’s return to WARP to further shape the arpeggiator’s input.
Press "WRP" to open the WARP settings.
Drag the Note Filter to set the polyphony to 2 — this limits the input from the SEQ to just two notes.
Tap the Mode button repeatedly until it shows HIGH — this selects the two highest notes from the SEQ.
Raise the 'Oct' setting by 1 — this shifts the selected notes up by one octave.
Now, the arpeggiator will play the top two notes of your chord progression, one octave above the chord track—adding brightness and motion to the pattern.
