Toontastic is a great app when it comes to going a step further with your stories. With Toontastic, students will be able to show their creativity by narrating, drawing and animating their own cartoons. This app will give students the ability to think outside the box and make their writing projects or stories an actual animated film
- There are a ton of characters included in the app to choose from, draw your own or add yourself to the story with photos and videos.
- Many songs are included
- 3 story types to choose from: short story, classic story, science report
- The idea lab lets students see other stories that have already been created.
- Students can make news reports, video game designs, adventure stories, photo albums and more!

Classroom Use
Toontastic would be a great addition to any primary classroom. It's a nice app to add to help students get creative with their thinking and writing skills. Toontastic gets kids excited about learning because they know they will get to make their stories real in the app. Some different ideas or writing projects for Toontastic could be:
- Fairytales: This app is great for bringing fantasy stories to life. Kids get so inspired when they know part of their writing is going to be using Toontastic.
- Video party or club: Another great thing about this app is that you get to watch your final project. Watch them as a class or get together in groups to share stories with other classmates.
