Think-In can be used as a teaching and assessment tool for emergent and young learners. This app focuses on key comprehension skills that will be practiced with "just right" books. Use Think-In to get a quick snapshot of students skills in order to evaluate their level of understanding.

Classroom Use

Teachers can easily see what students are understanding, what needs to be reinforced and what strategies may need some reteaching. Students will be able to easily navigate through this close reading app. Because this app is so easy to use, students will be able to show their comprehension skills and their higher level thinking that would normally take 1-1 instructional time. Teachers will be able to access finished movies from their students. They can choose to send them to parents and/or put them on a blog.

• Students will be able to add sticky notes to pages.
• They will be able to record their thinking.
• Screech the owl guides students through different comprehension skills and strategies.
• Once finished with a book, adding your notes and comments, the whole thing gets saved as a movie.
• Use Think-In as an extra tool to practice a specific strategy being taught in the classroom.
