Madrigal Actor (Auditions open to all students)

The Madrigal Actors are open to all PRHS students, with auditions happening on Thursday, Sept 7th from 3-4:30pm. Students can sign-up for an audition slot on the board outside of the choir room (N202) starting the first day of school. Auditions are comprised of a monologue which is to be prepared (preferably memorized) linked below.

Those cast will be responsible for memorizing their lines on their own and participating in group rehearsals that are usually help before school (late start Mondays with a few student led "at home rehearsals" during Oct/Nov. The students who write the script serve as the initial blocking directors, with Mr. Jensen adjusting as needed when we move into the performance space during Tech Week. Those cast as actors will be fitted for a costume which will be provided by the school. Roles typically include the King, Queen, Jester, Wench, Prince &/or Princess, Suitor, and two Heralds.

Monday-Thursday, Nov 13-16th from 3:30-8pm @ The Evangelical FRee Church of Crystal Lake (575 E.Crystal Lake Ave) - in costume

Performances: 

Fri, Nov 17th @ 5:45pm (3:30pm Call-time-dinner served to students)

Sat, Nov 18th @12:45pm (11am Call-time-no meal served to students)
