The Prairie Ridge Fine Arts area is fundamentally built on student centered experiences and opportunities. Our team operates 12+ academic courses, 5+ extracurricular activities, and countless student-led projects/ensembles that enrich our creative community each year.
Every other year, we travel as a Band and Choir group to locations across the country. March 2025 (pictured at the right) we went to Disney/Universal, and in March 2023 we traveled to New York City. Future travel is projected for March 2027!
Celebrating 25+ years of "we are PR" the Fine Arts area is proud to provide a webpage that encompasses our music and theater areas. We are more than happy to answer any of your questions, and hope to see you and your student in our community for many years!

Director of Jazz Studies & Assistant Marching Band Director
Jeff Crylen proudly works with the PRHS Band Program in an extracurricular capacity as the Assistant Marching Band Director and Director of Jazz Studies. As the Band Director at Prairie Grove CSD 46, he is highly motivated to maintain a strong relationship between the PG and PR Bands, as all PG students feed into PR.
