But instead, a game-changing memo written on the 3rd of November went on to determine not only the activities that followed, but the fate of this leadership.

In these memos, the two leaders of ONF, Hyojin and Seungjun, wrote handwritten letters expressing their decision for the group’s Korean members to simultaneously enlist by the end of Year 3.

While the group had great intentions when they came up with this bittersweet decision, I was actually surprised. I was surprised.. even though I’ve already seen it coming for two members. But most importantly, I was worried for this leadership.

Because ONF - a group 4 years BTS’ junior - will already go, this means the time for BTS to do the same is already becoming imminent. Although Jin is the only member who had to go this soon, there is a decent chance for the group to do the same tactic as ONF, which is to enlist together - which then puts Caratime on the line, as Cara may already have to go with Jin (whether through group enlistment or one by one).

So.... is this the end of Caratime?

I want to convince myself that this is not yet the end. I do not want Caratime to end this early, even though he has been running for almost three years now! It’s not yet his time.... am I right??

Since then, I kept on monitoring BTS’ schedules from December 21 onwards. The fact that nothing had yet been confirmed kind of scares me, because of all the possibilities in sight.

It was one of the scariest times in Caratime.

Because.. could they also be going? I do not want them to go at around the same time as the other group. I WANT THEM TO STAY.

Thankfully that only lasted for 23 days.

I can now breathe a sigh of relief.

BTS have applied for a deferral of military service.
