Our goal is to be a valuable resource to as many UNLV members as possible and to spread the understanding of the PA profession, therefore most are welcome!
Only requirements for membership:
Undergraduate or graduate student at UNLV of any major with any GPA
Ability to obtain at least 5 credits per semester
1 event = 1 credit
At least 1 credit must be from a general meeting
At least 1 credit must be obtained from any type of participation in the community project (participation is mandatory: 1 for fall and 1 for spring semester)
At least 1 credit must be obtained by attending any event (i.e. speaker events or workshop)
Fees:
A fee of $30 includes a t-shirt for the 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR (Fall Semester only).
Membership fees to only $15 for Spring Semester (for NEW MEMBERS only)
*T-shirts will be required for attending volunteer events
This document explains what is expected of members and what is expected to happen when member responsibilities are not maintained in detail (dresscode, attendance, misconduct process, probation policies, etc.).

Welcome! We are happy to have you join our organization. There are a few things you have to do first to make it official:
Fill out your prospective membership form or send a copy to prepas.sec@gmail.com
Pay your membership fee of $30 for the academic year (Fall Semester ONLY) or $15 for Spring Semester (for NEW MEMBERS only). You can pay through Zelle prepas.treas@gmail.com and make sure to comment your name and school email.
T-shirts are only required for attending volunteer events
IMPORTANT: If you would like to make cash payments, you may bring it to a general meeting or set up a meeting time with our treasurer.
All payments and forms must be turned in by the Second General Meeting
Request for PPAS membership in the UNLV Involvement Center
Sign up in the Involvement Center for the events you wish to attend! See you there :)

Must maintain a minimum of one (1) year active membership to receive a free stole
If a member does not reach one (1) year of active membership by the graduation date, he/she may purchase a stole.
Volunteer Events
Volunteer events are currently in-person held events and at least one credit is required to be from a volunteer event per semester.
Credits will be awarded for volunteer events.
Meetings and Speaker Events
General meetings will be in-person, unless stated otherwise.
Speaker events will be online, unless stated otherwise.
In order to earn credit for online events, please take a screenshot or picture of your screen at the END of the event and send it to prepas.sec@gmail.com.
If you have to leave early, please contact the officer in charge.
Tardiness
Members will be considered late if they show up after 15 minutes from the start time of an event.
Frequent tardiness will be brought to the attention of the leadership team and the misconduct system may be utilized upon discretion.
No Shows
Members will be considered a “No Show” if more than 30 minutes late.
If a member is late due to unforeseen circumstances, warnings or deductions may be given at the discretion of the leadership team.
Cancellations
Members must cancel at least 48 hours prior to an event to avoid utilization of the misconduction system.
