Hi everyone! My name is Shade and I am currently a senior majoring in Applied Health Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience. I am working now as an ophthalmology technician, but I have also worked as a med/surg CNA and a scribe for a psychiatric facility. When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, traveling, and going to the gym. I am excited to get to know each and every one of you. Currently, I am pursuing a major in Applied Health Science and working as a Medical Assistant at a pediatric clinic. Hello! I am excited to be the advisor for the Pre-PA Society at UNLV! I am currently the Director of the Pre-Professional Advising Center on campus. I have spent more than 12 years in higher education, working within the Las Vegas community and the state through different partnerships, programming, and events to help students achieve their educational goals. In my current position, I am lucky to spend my days working with our motivated, energetic, passionate pre-professional students here at UNLV! When I’m not at work, I am home with my husband and two children who are 9 and 2 years old. I enjoy spending time with my family, being an active member of my mom’s group, and love watching sports!

Hello! My name is Rosalyn (Roz), and I'm currently a Senior Advisor in the Pre-Professional Advising Center, serving students pursuing Pre-PA, Pre-Dental, Pre-OT/Pre-PT, or Pre-Pharmacy school. I'm excited to share all the knowledge and tools I've picked up on my 10+ year adventure working in higher education in the state of Nevada. As an alum of UNLV, I'm proud to be able to give back to my Rebel Fam by guiding other UNLV students towards success in their educational journeys while also fueling their inner fire to flourish as individuals. I love cheering on my students! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling (especially abroad), finding great food spots around town, and learning new things about anything and everything (just in case), and spending quality time with my family.
