Household Management

In today's world, youth are involved in multiple extracurricular activities, which can be time consuming. According to the Pew Research Center 2015 report, 7 of 10 children are involved in a sport, religious activity, or part-time job; often, they are engaged in multiple activities during the year. With young people's schedules being compacted with activities outside the household, there is little time to learn basic household management skills other than cleaning a bedroom.

Therefore, when young adults transition from parents' households into their own, there is an adjustment period of realizing all the tasks that were completed while busy with sports, homework, and school. Our Household Management workshop guides participants through tasks to manage household responsibilities. In no time, young adults will be able to smoothly run a functional household.
