*Additional fees to the student may include: expanded panel drug screening, fingerprints, physician office visits, titer screenings, immunizations, physical exams, eye exams, fit testing, and any additional items required by the health facility. All prices are subject to change.
All compliance items (see checklist below) must be completed and uploaded to your American Databank account before beginning lab and clinical rotations.
Students should plan on purchasing their compliance tracking package 6 months before the start of their first nursing term, which includes a lab and clinical rotation.
Your compliance tracking package is valid for 30 months from the date of purchase. If your program pacing exceeds this time frame, you are subject to additional fees associated with extending your compliance package.
Compliance items regularly expire and require updating. You are responsible for ensuring you're up-to-date on all compliance items, including any additional site-specific requirements.

a. If you completed a background check at enrollment, you will not need to order another background check unless it’s been greater than two years or the health facility requires an updated background check

WGU may grant an exemption based on our established processes and procedures, which includes the completion of a WGU form by a licensed healthcare provider that has treated or examined you. You may be subject to additional requirements established by the healthcare facility to complete your professional practice experiences (placement). The healthcare facility will determine its ability to accommodate you.

Due to WGU's legal obligation with our healthcare partners, it is your responsibility to maintain your compliance account prior to and throughout the completion of your clinical intensives. Any compliance category found to be out of compliance may result in your inability to attend a clinical intensive.
