Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is used to assess the performance of projects set up by the government, international organizations and NGOs. Its goal is to improve current and future management of outputs, outcomes and impact. Many international organizations such as the European Union, USAID and the World Bank group have been utilizing this process for many years. The process is also growing in popularity in the developing countries where the governments have created their own national M&E systems to assess the development projects, the resource management and the government activities or administration. The developed countries are using this process to assess their own development and cooperation agencies.
To ensure the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) runs smoothly and achieves its goals, several Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems have been implemented. These systems help track progress, assess impact, and support effective management.
The Management Information System (MIS) in the PRDP M&E framework integrates and manages data in real-time, supporting effective decision-making and ensuring accurate tracking of project progress and performance.
The Disbursement Dashboard in the PRDP M&E system provides a real-time overview of financial transactions and fund allocations. It tracks disbursements, ensuring transparency and efficient management of project finances.
The Document Tracking System in the PRDP M&E framework monitors and manages project-related documents, ensuring they are properly filed, accessed, and tracked throughout their lifecycle. This system enhances document management efficiency and supports transparency.
The iPEP-ARS (Individual Performance Evaluation Profile and Accomplishment Reporting System) tracks and evaluates individual performance and accomplishments within the PRDP. It streamlines performance assessments and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely evaluations.
