The Prayer Mountain Project is a cultural and artistic initiative that brings together the history of Shosanji Temple, the natural beauty of Kamiyama, and the music, food, and culture of Tokushima — and shares them with people in Japan and around the world.

Our vision goes beyond creating a one-night event.

Together with the local community, we hope to nurture this project year after year, until one day people will say:

“Autumn has come. It’s time for the music festival at Shosanji.”

Our hope is to create a new cultural tradition — one that grows from this sacred mountain and is carried forward into the future.
