Other Assignment Sites

There are four sites that host dozens of information literacy assignments. Most of the assignments are created by librarians and are not specifically about Biblical or Religious studies. The assignments tend to be complete assignments about one or more information literacy ideas; these are not partial assignments like the ones on this website. Feel free to take a look at these other assignments, you may find parts that you like, or whole lessons.

PRIMO - Peer-Reviewed Instructional Materials Online Database

This searchable collection of assignments and tutorials is hosted by and reviewed by members of the Instruction Section of ACRL. ACRL, as you recall, is the Association of College and Research Librarians; the makers of the Standards and the Framework.

Project CORA - Community of Online Research Assignments

This searchable collection of assignments was begun by librarians in California. The assignments list IL concepts and tags, to help identify what IL idea is being covered. There are a few that are identified as being about "theology".

LOEX - Library Orientation EXchange

A searchable collection of assignments and tutorials collected by an organization of instruction librarians. Also includes a variety of tutorials and videos.

ACRL'S SANDBOX - ACRL Framework for Information Literacy Sandbox

ACRL, the group that created the Standards and the Frameworks, has created a sandbox (collection of assignments) for the Framework. Librarians submitted various assignments to be used by others. It is a searchable list of assignments. It should continue to grow.
