Prabhat Upadhyay is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Department of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Previously, he held the position of Young Scientist at the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi, India, where the project received funding from the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

 He earned his PhD ('18) from the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Following his doctoral studies, he worked at Zeon Lifesciences Ltd as a Scientist cum Manager, where he successfully filed the Phytopharmaceutical Dossier at the Drug Controller General of India office in New Delhi. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the development of the UJC Product, which is now available in the Indian market in the FSSAI category.

 Prabhat Upadhyay has authored more than 15 research papers in reputable journals, 4 book chapters, and holds a granted USA patent.
