Prabhat Upadhyay is a Research Fellow at the Wu Lab, Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Department of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Previously, he held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Edlow Lab, Vincent Center for Reproductive Biology, Department of OB/GYN, MGH, Harvard Medical School, Boston, and Young Scientist at the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi, India, where the project received funding from the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
He earned his PhD ('18) from the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Following his doctoral studies, he worked at Zeon Lifesciences Ltd as a Scientist cum Manager, where he successfully submitted the Phytopharmaceutical Dossier (NeuroBDH) at the Drug Controller General of India office in New Delhi. Notably, he played a pivotal role as a co-inventor in the development of the UJC Product, which is now available in the Indian market under the FSSAI category.
Prabhat Upadhyay has authored more than 20 research/review papers in reputable journals and 6 book chapters and holds a granted USA patent.
