Prof. Dr.  Andre Santanché

I am a professor and researcher at Unicamp. My research interests encompass a convergence of the following items: databases, digital libraries, software engineering (mainly software components), multimedia authoring, semantic Web and these same items combined and applied to e-Science and Education. Since 1993 I have developed an authoring system originally named Magic House, of which the new version has been renamed Componere.

Profa. Dra.  Nicolli Rios

Nicolli Rios holds a PhD from the Graduate Program in Computer Science. His research project is: Organizing a set of empirical findings about practical problems, causes and effects of Technical Debt in software projects through a globally distributed family of surveys. She has a Master's degree in Systems and Computing from Universidade Salvador (2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Salvador (2013). She is a researcher for the Technical Debt Research Team (www.tdresearchteam.com).

Dr.  Marcelo Pinheiro

Marcelo Pinheiro holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNIFACS/UFBA and a Master in Systems and Computing from Salvador University - PPGCOMP (UNIFACS). He worked from 2019 to 2021 in INTEL Corporation (US) as Principal Engineer on Hybrid/Edge Cloud Solutions and is currently Solutions Engineer at Google in Portland, US.

Prof. Dr.  Ramon dos Reis Fontes

Ramon Fontes holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering - UNICAMP and a Master in Systems and Computing from the University Salvador (UNIFACS). He is currently Professor at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) - Natal.

Prof. Dr.  André Castelo Branco

Prof. André Soares has a degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Piauí (2001), a Master's in Computer Networks from the Universidade Salvador (2004), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Informatics Center of the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computing at the Federal University of Piauí.

General Coordinator of IT Infrastructure of the Secretary of Science and Technology of the State of Bahia - SECTI/BA and Professor at Instituto Federal da Bahia (IFBA). Grinaldo holds an MSc. in Computer Systems from Salvador University - UNIFACS.

Prof. Dr.  Rafael F. Reale

Professor at Institute Federal of Bahia (IFBA). PhD. in Computer Science with DMCC (UFBA/UNIFACS/UEFS), MSc. in Computer Systems by Salvador University - UNIFACS (2011) and bachelor in Informatics by Universidade Católica do Salvador (2005). Professor at Instituto Federal da Bahia (IFBA). His current research interests include Bandwidth Allocation Model, MPLS, DS-TE, Autonomy, QoS, Future Internet Architectures, Software-Defined Networks and Cognitive Networks.

M.Sc. Helio Oliveira Queiroz Júnior

Prof. Dr. Teófilo Teixeira Branco Júnior 

Teófilo holds a Doctorate in Technology and Information Systems and from January 2022 will integrate the postdoctoral project “Smart Cities and Law, e-Governance and Rights” at the Law School – JUSGOV, University of Minho – Portugal. He currently works at the City Hall of Salvador, in Civil Defense – CODESAL, as IT Nucleus Manager. He is an internal instructor at the City Hall of Salvador - Municipal Administration Secretariat. He teaches at FACEMP – Salvador, Bahia..

MSc. Demian Lessa

Demian Lessa is a software engineer in Oviedo, Florida, United States at Ultimate Software. He has a MSc. in Computer Systems by Salvador University - UNIFACS (2005). Demian has teaching experience in public and private universities in Brazil and US.

MSc. Márcio Alexandre Pereira da Silva

Marcio is a software engineer in Portugal at Natixis-Porto of the BPCE Group (second largest French bank and fifth-largest in Europe). He is completing his doctorate at the Federal University of Pernambuco, within the topic “Towards an Adaptive Software Architecture for Archetype-based Healthcare Applications,” supervised collaboratively by Prof. Dr. Paulo Caetano (UNIFACS – PPGCOMP). Marcio has teaching experience in public and private universities in Brazil.

MSc. Fábio Costa

Fábio Costa holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Salvador University (UNIFACS). He is a software engineer with extensive experience in financial systems. Fabio currently works at finAPI, a startup leader implementing Open Banking based in Germany. He is also a member of the Blockchain Founders Group, one of the world's most successful startup accelerators in crypto assets, DLTs and Blockchain.

Prof. Dr. Cleber Lira 

Cleber Lira holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and a Master in Systems and Computing from the Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS). He currently works as a professor at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Bahia (IFBA) and teaches subjects in the areas of programming, algorithms, design patterns, software architecture, and web systems. Cleber Lira is a member of the research groups CNPQ Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Mathematics, Mathematics Education and Digital Technologies (NIPMEMTD) and WISER (Web, Internet and Intelligent Systems Research Group - UFBA) where he develops research in the areas of Service Oriented Architecture, Internet of Things and Computing in Mist. He is interested in research on the following topics: Internet of Things, Web Services, Semantic Web, Microservices, Edge Computing, Fog of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Education.

Profa. MSc. Daniela Araújo

Daniela has a master's degree in SYSTEMS AND COMPUTING, a postgraduate degree in COMPUTER NETWORKS (1998) and a degree in ANALYSIS OF SYSTEMS (1994) all from UNIFACS. She is currently Professor and Coordinator of the Computer Science, Information Systems, Networks, Internet Systems and Systems Analysis and Development courses at UNIFACS.
