We are a team of researchers who use both dry lab and wet lab experiments to pursue curiosity-driven research as well as practical applications. Currently, we are engaged with the following objectives:
Molecular basis of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
New drug targets against AMR
Bacterial Vaccines
Stress response and biofilm formation in bacteria
Finding action mechanisms of the essential bacterial GTPase Obg CgtA, and associated proteins
We have been using Vibrio, Mycobacteria, and Pseudomonas as some of our model organisms for the above studies.
