As you know, when you get a DXF or a DWG from a customer and send it directly to the machine, the machine may:
Cut the part into tiny segments
Cut the part in a random order,
Even cut the same entities more than once.
Well, our CAD system has a Clean Up and Optimize feature. With this feature, no matter how large and complex the imported geometry is, you can be sure that after the clean-up, the geometry will be perfect for cutting!
Never worry about double segments and polylines again when importing DXFs and DWGs. With our Clean up and Optimize feature, all imported geometry will be ready to cut in seconds.
We have 40 pre-design shapes that cover most of the CAD work you have to do in a fabrication shop. Not only that, but all these shapes are parametric, so you can easily modify them at any point.
Thanks to the shape library and our CAD templates, you likely never need to start drawing a part from scratch.
When you send the G code to your machine, all the lead-in, tabs, and feed rate information will be programmed in the G code and you will be able to simulate it.
If you send a DXF directly into your controller, it won't have all this information. This means you will have to program it on the controller, where the definition of tabs, leads, and feed rate control can range from difficult to impossible to program.
If you need to cut the same part several times, you just have to program it once. With our toolpath patterns feature you can create arrays of any programmed toolpath in seconds.
Because our CAD and CAM are connected, if you modify the CAD part, all the toolpath results, including the pattern, will be modified automatically. This might take you several minutes to hours using a separate CAD and CAM system.
