It's important to follow these instructions when transferring files from your PC to your Kobo device:

1. It's not possible to transfer files from the PC to Kobo when XCSoar is running in the Kobo device. Before connecting the USB cable, we must switch to Nickel.
2. When we have finished to transfer files, it's very important to use the 'Safely remove hardware' feature of your OS in your PC, and then unplug the device from the PC. We must wait then for the Kobo device to restart automatically.

Waypoints Creation

This section explains how to create waypoints and tasks on the go in XCSoar, without the need of importing the task or waypoints from outside.

1. Look for the place where to add the way-point

Pan on the map and place the cross-hair where you want a waypoint to be created by tapping 'Display' -> 'Pan On' -> Tap and hold around the map

2. Create a marker

Tap 'Nav' -> 'Nav 2/2' -> 'Drop Mark'

3. Select the marker

Tap on the marker created -> select the marker from the list -> Tap 'Details'

4. Edit the marker

Way-point menu appears. Tap on either of the arrows to move to next screen -> Tap 'Edit' -> Change the fields as needed -> Tap 'Ok' (now you have a way-point)

5. Add the way-point to the task

Go back to Way-point menu and tap 'Insert in Task' (if this is the first way-point you inserted in the task, you'll see a 'Created Goto Task' dialog
