Evan is a Master of Urban and Regional Planning graduate from Universitas Gadjah Mada, specializing in GIS-based spatial analysis, evidence-driven planning, and sustainable regional development. His research examines poverty in East Kotawaringin Regency through the Spatial Poverty Trap framework and the Natural Resource Curse Theory, revealing how spatial processes, accessibility, and resource dependence shape regional disparities. He has applied spatial modeling to formulate the Scenic Byways concept for enhancing regional connectivity in Pangandaran Regency and utilized GIS to document cultural heritage sites of the Kanjuruhan Kingdom. His interests include strategic spatial planning, spatial analytics, poverty and regional dynamics, sustainable development, and culture-integrated planning.
