I am an Urban and Regional Planner with a strong background in GIS, spatial analysis, and data-driven planning. My expertise includes strategic spatial planning, sustainable development, culture-based planning, and REDD+ initiatives. I am passionate about designing inclusive and resilient urban and regional solutions that integrate community growth, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability. When i'm not working, i enjoy exploring new places with my camera, fishing, hiking, and learning new things about music. hehehe lol

Hobby
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy a variety of activities that keep me inspired and balanced. Singing, especially in choir, allows me to express creativity and emotion beyond academics. Fishing in the palm plantations around my hometown in Sampit brings me peace and a deeper connection with nature. I am also a big fan of the Harry Potter series—particularly Gryffindor—which continues to spark my imagination and sense of wonder. In addition, I love exploring new places, as it gives me opportunities to learn from diverse cultures, environments, and communities.
Education (Evan.S.P.W.K., M.URP.)
Universitas Gadjah Mada (Aug 2023 – Jun 2025) (Master's Degree/M.URP) I completed a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the Department of Architecture and Planning (DTAP), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and graduating with Cum Laude honors (GPA 3.93/4.00). My academic focus was on spatial planning, poverty studies, and the application of GIS technologies in regional development. During this program, I gained expertise in analytical tools such as QGIS, Google Colab, Google Earth Engine (GEE), TerrSet LiberaGIS, SPSS Advanced, as well as qualitative approaches including phenomenology. My master’s thesis,Spatial Variations in the Formation of Poverty Characteristics in East Kotawaringin Regency,examined the spatial dynamics of poverty using the Spatial Poverty Trap (Jalan & Ravallion, 1997) and the Natural Resource Curse Theory (Richard M. Auty, 1993).
Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang (Sep 2017 – Feb 2022) (Bachelor’s Degree/S.P.W.K) I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang, and also graduating with Cum Laude honors (GPA 3.61/4.00). My undergraduate studies emphasized urban and regional planning with strong applications of GIS. I developed proficiency in various technical tools, including UCINET, ArcMap,ENVI, ArcScene, Google City Engine, SPSS and SketchUp. My undergraduate thesis, Social Networks Mapping to Support Tourism Development in the Coastal Area of Ujung Pandaran Village, applied Social Network Analysis (SNA) using Friedman’s framework to analyze stakeholder relationships in community-based tourism development.
I am proficient in a wide range of spatial analysis and statistical tools, including QGIS, ArcMap, TerrSet LiberaGIS, Google Earth Engine (GEE), and GeoDa. I also have experience in applying advanced regression models such as GWR4 and GWmodelS, as well as coding and data analysis using Google Colab. For quantitative and statistical analysis, I utilize IBM SPSS and Microsoft Excel, while for communication and visualization I rely on Canva and Microsoft Word.
Soft Skill
I excel in critical and analytical thinking, with the ability to approach complex spatial and socio-economic challenges from multiple perspectives. My strengths also include spatial reasoning, effective project management, and stakeholder engagement. In addition, I prioritize clear and structured communication to bridge technical findings with practical applications.
Interests
My professional interests lie in strategic spatial planning, GIS-based spatial data analytics, and exploring the role of digital transformation in urban and regional planning. I am particularly motivated to integrate technology and data-driven approaches into planning processes to create more inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable development solutions.

I am fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and have an intermediate proficiency in English, which allows me to engage effectively in both local and international academic and professional settings.
