My Profile

About Me

I am a current IBCP student at Smithfield-Selma High School.  I have many different activities both inside school hours and outside. Some of these include the school's robotics team,  playing soccer for a local league, being on a local fire department, and volunteering when I can through my school's National Honor Society.  I aim to be a Biomedical Engineer and hope to one day to design an item to help a group of people who cannot function fully on their own. To help become a Biomedical Engineer I plan on transferring from a community college to a four-year college and majoring in Biomedical engineering.

REFLECTION ON DEVELOPMENT

Short term:

Long term:

I am a very analytical person who loves learning and tinkering with how different things work. My chosen IB pathway is Engineering. Within Engineering I learn to take apart different machines and tools and different pathways to take within the Engineering world such as Mechanical, Electrical, Computer and Aerospace Engineering.

Over my time in this program, I have become an efficient worker and further developed my analytical skills. I have also created greater bonds with my classmates and with my community through my projects such as the language development and service learning. I have also created many connections to various fields through my hours at robotics and at the fire station.
