To use the medium of lino blocks to its full potential, I chose to carve one of my characters that would fit the lino block technique. I used both a thin and thicker carving tool to add different line weights to the print. In addition, I simplified the original drawing so that it would successfully transfer to the final print. I chose to use black ink to add contrast between the white line and the body shapes of the character. Lastly, I decided to print the linoblock on a red bag to make the black ink pop in comparison.
