About me

I am a 20-year-old artist from North Bay, Ontario, and I have had an interest in all things art and design since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Over the past 5 years, I have been working with my partner to create comics and stories that we hope to share with others very soon. 

Ever since I was young I have had a fascination with cats. I take most of my inspiration from their elegance and beauty. Their likeness is the basis for most of the stories created by the Kinidae brand, and they have a role to play in nearly every artwork I create. 

A secondary inspiration for the brand is the concept of duality. Since Kinidae is dual-owned by both my partner and I, our two vastly different works can clash and create some very thoughtful pieces. I have always found myself interested in portraying themes through my work, and duality has been the most influential of them all. 

The word 'Kinidae' is meant to represent the idea of cause and effect. Similarly, the brand works to create its own cause through inspiration and hard work, and its own effects through the content we produce.
