An operatic murder cold case & the pin-board on which you have to solve it!
You play as (newly promoted) investigative detective Shapiro, who is challenged by her senior's to solve the Falsetto homicide from the 40s.
Read through police interviews, paper clippings and suspect profiles and separate the truth from the lies.
Connect clues with pins and thread to build your theory. See if you can solve it.
Opus Unsolved was a group effort. Our team consisted out of lead game designer Joeri Ridder, narrative-focused game designer Sara de Rooij, lead game artist Hessel Bouma, me (secondary game artist) as well as two audio engineers we worked with Stef and Freek.
While those were our official roles, it was all a collaboration where we set our own tasks and helped each other. In the end, my tasks were primarily focused on character concept art, UI and evidence assets. While I am glad with our final product, I have progressed over the last two years and would love to remaster the game one day.
