february postage stamps 2023

I love the design of small everyday objects. Postage stamps, matchboxes, card decks, albums, ticket stubs, flyers.  

When I picked up a magazine named filatelie (philately) at the grab-a-book leave-a-book stand positioned at the train station, I got curious about the history of their design. Cue the spike document above. 

In the end I messed around with pictorial stamp designs myself, and learned about mono/duo tone editing in photoshop.
