Food is not just about what's on our plate. It's about the recipes that get passed down from one generation to the next, the local ingredients we use, and the people we enjoy meals with. Food has character and can provide us a sense of community. The Pomona Free Clinic is launching the Cookbook Project to share the journeys food can bring us by highlighting local farmers' markets, seasonal ingredients, and the recipes that are dear to our hearts!
Project Details:
This project will span from 2022 - 2023. In order to highlight food in this manner, PFC is seeking interviewers to discover new recipes, designers to design the final e-cookbook, and folks willing to conduct local food outreach to feature local farmers' markets, grocery stores, and businesses.
