Tow Job – Tutorial

Once you’ve confirmed that you have the tow job by typing /job in chat, head over to the tow yard at postal 8160 (Across the street in the gated area).

To bring out your flatbed, go to the West gated area and walk into the red Marker and Select Flatbed.

Once spawned into your Flatbed, hold the F1 key to bring up your wheel Menu, then Select “Work”, then “Toggle NPC” To begin your first tow mission. 

A blue GPS marker will now be displayed on your map, follow it to locate your first tow.

Once at the Blue Marker, the car may not appear yet, back up to the Marker and when you get close, the car you need to tow should appear:

Go next to the car and open your F1 Wheel menu, Press “Work” then “Tow Vehicle” 

If you encounter an error stating that this isn’t the correct vehicle, reposition yourself around the vehicle, like in this image here, I had to be near the middle of the car for it to work, also be sure to be facing the car.. Then you’ll get the progress bar that you’re Hoisting the Vehicle. Once done the car will appear on the flatbed… might be floating but meh, who cares. LOL 

Now return to the depot with the car and drop it off at the designated area within the depot, it will be in the same area you took out the Flatbed, the “DROP OFF ZONE” it will be indicated on the ground as “KEEP CLEAR”. Backup until the rear end of the tow truck is by the keep clear area like the image below. 

Get out of the tow truck, then face the car, then open your F1 Menu, Push “WORK” Then “TOW VEHICLE”, and the vehicle will be dropped off, and you’ll automatically will be assigned another vehicle. 

When you’ve finished towing vehicles, simply open the F1 Menu, Click “WORK” Then click “TOGGLE NPC” and you’re done your shift, and to return your flatbed, simply drive to the area you spawned it at. Have fun!
