Trucking (Long Haul Trucking)
Please Note: If you want to use custom trucks that you can modify, buy them at the Vehicle Dealerships and NOT within the Job Screen. The trucks you buy within the job screen are stock and will remain stock and you can’t mod them. If you wish to hire AI Drivers that will “Drive” for you, then you must purchase a truck within the Job App, then assign your hired driver to that truck.
You can do trucking no matter what job you currently have… happy trucking!
Head on over to Postal 10116 and visit this lovely fella! Use your third eye to interact.
The first screen you’ll see is your Stats. Once you start completing deliveries you’ll see your progress here.
NOTE: If you already purchased a truck, head to the freight screen, and spawn a trailer and you can get started.
If you do not own a truck, click the Quick Jobs. To start you cannot select any route that’s longer than 4KM Distance, and you do not have any endorsements either, so you will have to find a job that meets those criteria to start.
Your truck and trailer will spawn once you select a job that meets the criteria. Head to your truck, hop on it and back up to the trailer and get going on your delivery.
Once you have arrived at your destination, you have to park your truck the correct way.
NOTE: Sometimes there might be a trailer parked in the area you need to deliver to. Simply drop your trailer, go move the other trailer out of the way, then you can hook back up to your trailer and finish your delivery.
When parked correctly, you’ll be prompted to Push E to finish your Delivery. Once done, you’ll have to return your borrowed truck to complete the job.
When you complete the return of the truck, you’ll get a notification with how much money you’ve earned and total XP Earned that trip.
The Freight screen is for people who already own trucks, you can spawn trailers here.
You can host a Convoy Party from within the job, and anyone who joins the party will be hauling the exact same load as everyone else, and you can convoy to your drop off destination! The person creating the party just needs to follow the on screen instructions.
Once you level up once, and gain an XP Point, you’ll be able to spend it to unlock some other criteria. Spend your points wisely.
Diagnostics is for trucks purchased within the Job, and you are to maintain them within that app. Just click on each part to repair. This is how you’ll maintain your fleet of AI Drivers that drive for you.
Dealership is where you can purchase the trucks for your fleet for your AI Drivers. You can driver these trucks also if you don’t want to purchase a truck at a Dealership and be able to Modify it, and keep the mods. NOTE: Do not bring trucks bought in this screen to LS Customs, as any changes done will not save.
Trucks is where you can manage your trucks. This is where you can spawn your truck if you wish to drive a company truck.
A Recruitment Agency is where you can hire drivers. Once hired be sure to assign them to a truck. NOTE: Drivers will only drive for you while you’re logged into the server. These drivers do not drive for you while you’re offline. Also, it’s just a math thing, you won’t see them physically drive around.
Once you hire a driver, be sure they have a truck to drive. Then manage your drivers and select the truck you wish for them to drive. Once selected, you will not be able to pull this truck out, and your driver will start earning you money slowly. You do not need to be logged in as a trucker for your driver to continue earning you money. As long as you’re logged into the server doing whatever, your driver will always drive. Just be sure to check in once and a while and ensure that your trucks are in working order, if not your drivers won’t be able to drive with a broken truck.
The Job Bank is where you store money for your Trucking Company. Before you can purchase anything within the Job App, you must first transfer money to your Business Account here.
And that about covers it all! And remember, if you drive crazy, you might get pulled over by Police! Have fun trucking!
