An abandoned, run-down island off the southern coast of Fierte.
Connections:
Tidal Cave (Cave)
Underground Southwest (Cave)
??? (???)
Lang can be found standing on the beach outside the Tidal Cave. When a player talks to him, he'll explain how Wild Pokémon Dens work, and give the player an Escape Rope to use if they get stuck.
Solaire can be found in the northeast part of the island. When a player approaches her, she'll ask them to find Captain Lang and bring him to her.
After speaking to Lang (again, if they spoke to him before Solaire), when the player returns to Solaire, they will be given the HM01 Cut and a Bent Knife, and Solaire will have them teach Cut to themselves instead of their Pokémon .
With the ability to Cut small trees, the player can proceed into the sinkhole, past the building at the bottom, and progress into Underground Southwest.
The Shady Trainer from the S.S. Cinaeco can be found outside the hotel, who players can pay to train their Pokémon to level 15.
If players return to Penrith Isle after completing the Penrith Laboratory, all NPCs from the S.S. Cinaeco will be gone.
When the NPCs leave, any who would have given an item the player never spoke to will be replaced by an Item ball containing said item.
Even when the NPCs have left, Pokémon can still be healed at the Pokémon Center.
