Martinez Seafood: tuna, salmon, shrimp, togarashi, edamame, brown rice, rice vinegar;
Whole Foods Distribution: most produce like green cab, jalapeno, green onion, avocado, zucchini, etc.;
GFS: bowls and lids, mayo, tofu, gloves, 1oz cups and lids, etc.
RD (Restaurant Depot): soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, brown and white sugar, white rice, garlic, carrots, etc.;
Whole Foods transferring: at times we need to transfer items from WF to Poke Bowl like avocados or zucchini. This is done through the customer service desk.
An email will be sent to whoever is working the morning of the deliveries.
If you switch your shift with anyone on a morning where deliveries are coming in, send the email of the deliveries to them.
Morning shift is always responsible for putting deliveries away.
All deliveries can be found in the holding cooler, located near the receiving dock. They have to be taken out and placed into their corresponding locations.
If any produce that was ordered is NOT found in the holding cooler its most likely in the produce departments cooler. In which case you will have to find either a buyer OR a floor manager and let them know of what products are missing from us. Be sure to report missed items to Leader.
If any of our chicken or beef deliveries are not in the holding cooler, they’ll most likely be found in the meat departments cooler. In which case you”ll have to speak to a buyer or floor manager and let them know our product got mixed in with theirs.
All PRODUCE, sushi ginger and rice seasoning vinegar go in the produce cooler.
If anything comes in frozen or says “keep frozen” on the box it comes in, it goes into the freezer until needed.
Fresh Salmon and Mayo go in the Meat/Fish cooler.
All non perishables (Gloves, Bowls, etc), seasonings (sriracha powder, ginger powder, furikake, fried shallots), or anything with a long shelf life (soy sauce, mirin, molasses, ponzu, etc) go into the dry storage.
Double check. More times than none, the item missing wasn't looked for properly, as it's never only in one place every time.
Let a Leader know what was missing.
