DIGITAL & ILLUSTRATED MAPS
Cartographic Expertise
Over my 20+ year career in cartography, I have developed expertise across diverse mapping styles including fantasy-style illustrations, walking guides, digital vector maps, hand-drawn designs, and historical reconstructions.
Professional Journey
My career began with major publishing houses, creating maps for Penguin Viking, Macmillan Books USA, Facts on File USA, and Dorling Kindersley's Cartography department. I later specialized in documenting historic polar expeditions through cartography for The History Press and The Erskine Press.
Current Focus
My recent work concentrates on urban and recreational cartography, including town layouts, city centre guides, nature trails, and walking routes. These projects utilize the Point2 guide template system, which I developed to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
Client Feedback
"Point2's new interactive Shropshire walking routes have resulted in an extremely high uptake from both visitors and locals... We would highly recommend Point2 and look forward to developing further routes with them in the future."
