Protective side shields for glasses are difficult to put on and are ineffective
Not a universal fit for all glasses
Still allows small debris and other objects to hit eyes
Uncomfortable to wear
What is the background, context, or setting of the problem?: Usually the protective side shields are very uncomfortable to put on and are very difficult to put on glasses. Additionally, they don't provide a proper fit for most glasses despite their "universal" design and still can allow small debris to hit eyes.
Why is this worth solving?: Because of how ineffective the side shields are it can be difficult to wear and put on glasses. Additionally as these seem to be the only other option and many others follow a similar design or are rather pricy for what you are getting, another problem is how uncomfortable it is to wear even when worn properly.
A side shield that instead of weaving through the glasses legs instead is a clip
A magnetic clip that will attach onto the legs so it can fit all glasses leg types
A strap design that will be similar to a watch
Velcro straps onto the glasses' legs
Elastic Bands
Protective side shields for glasses are incredibly difficult to put on and are generally uncomfortable to wear. It also doesn't fit glasses sizes properly and can still potentially allow objects or debris to still get into the eyes because of its poor shape design.
